27 and counting… the short life of mine has taken me to various places and have been lucky enough to have an encounter with wide multitude of people, culture, food and … I fall short of words.. still learning to pen it down you see….
Affairs in Europe will always be my treasures… and one such diamond in my treasure would be Amsterdam.
Had a very short weekend time to explore and enjoy the vibrant city of Amsterdam. A day and a half… that’s all it was… but awesome it was… every moment counted for it…. from the big grand buildings.. the dutch cheese and pastries to the red light district and the numerous pubs and party places.. the museums ..the canals and the boat ride.. .the city had it all.. for all ages…for all genders… for all human cravings…
The vibrancy took me by surprise… The canals make the city looks all the more charming and romantic…
The reflections on the water make a wonderful combination of lights, color, feel and imagination. Sharing some snaps…
and then how can the red light district, the windmills, the masts of the old sail ships and the surprises the streets of the city can offer be far behind….. they surely form an integral part of their culture and tradition….
The city is creative in itself, offering your imaginations to be well stressed and stretched, and there is no limits to it. You are free to wander in your own world..
Blending with the canals and waters and bridges was the science center of the city.. an iconic structure in itself – NEMO

and then as I looked to front of the boat, as it maneuvered its way through the intricate network of the water ways… the beauty of the setting sun beholds…

Then… the final crescendo in this wonderful symphony of lights and shades… the lights melt into the darkness .. the marina looks blissful as ever …

Amsterdam really impressed me and there I echo the words… ‘ I AM AMSTERDAM ‘ !!!!!

Cheers
